Oil Prices Surge Again Amid Renewed U.S. Strikes

Global oil prices have climbed sharply once again following a new wave of U.S. military strikes targeting Iran.

Oil prices in international markets began rising after the United States resumed attacks on Iran on the 8th of this month. Since then, prices have continued to increase as both countries exchange strikes, raising fears of a wider conflict in the region.

The United States carried out additional strikes on Tuesday, targeting several locations across Iran, including areas housing the country’s nuclear facilities.

According to market reports, the international benchmark Brent crude rose to $87.49 per barrel, up from $79.17 the previous day, reflecting growing concerns over potential disruptions to global energy supplies.

The latest increase marks the highest level for Brent crude since June 12, making it the first time oil prices have returned to that level in more than a month.
