Trump: Netanyahu Will Have ‘No Choice’ but to Accept Deal

U.S. President Donald Trump has said Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will ultimately have “no choice” but to accept a deal, signaling Washington’s continued push for a diplomatic resolution despite rapidly escalating tensions in the Middle East.

In an interview with the Financial Times, Trump emphasized his influence over the situation, saying, “I call all the shots … he doesn’t call the shots,” in reference to Netanyahu. The remarks come amid reports of disagreements between Washington and Tel Aviv over how to respond to the latest developments in the region.

Trump also stressed that Iran’s missile attacks on Israel had not changed his determination to pursue an agreement. According to the U.S. president, diplomacy remains the preferred path despite the growing military confrontation and exchange of threats between regional powers.

His comments came as Iran launched missile attacks against Israeli targets overnight, saying the strikes were a response to Israel’s continued military operations in Lebanon. The attacks targeted areas including Haifa and Tel Aviv, while Iranian officials warned that any Israeli retaliation would be met with a far stronger response. The developments have heightened concerns that the crisis could expand into a wider regional conflict, even as Washington continues to push for a negotiated solution.
