Iran claims drone strikes targeted two US military sites in Kuwait

Iran’s army says it has launched a large-scale drone attack targeting two US military facilities in Kuwait, according to a statement carried by the country’s state broadcaster.

The statement, broadcast by IRIB, said Iran’s “destructive drones” struck an ammunition depot at Camp Al Adiri as well as Patriot missile systems and air-defence radar installations at Ali Al Salem Air Base.

Iranian authorities described the operation as part of their ongoing military response against US forces amid the escalating conflict between the two countries.

There was no immediate confirmation from US or Kuwaiti authorities regarding the reported attacks, and the extent of any damage or casualties was not immediately clear.

The claim comes as hostilities between the United States and Iran continue to intensify, with both sides exchanging strikes across multiple locations in the region.
