Sean Parnell, Spokesperson of Pentagon.

Nearly 100 US service members have been injured during the ongoing conflict between the United States and Iran over the past two weeks.

According to Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell, around 100 American troops sustained injuries of varying severity between the 7th of this month and today. He added that about 96 percent of those injured have already recovered and returned to active duty.

The Pentagon has not disclosed the exact nature of the injuries or where the incidents occurred. However, officials said none of the injuries are considered life-threatening.

The announcement comes as attacks targeting US military installations across the Middle East have continued to increase. US officials also referenced an earlier Iranian attack in Jordan that resulted in the deaths of American service members, highlighting the growing risks facing US forces in the region.
