Iraq has temporarily closed its airspace and suspended air navigation, according to civil aviation authorities.

Meanwhile, the Syrian Civil Aviation Authority announced the temporary closure of southern air corridors and suspended operations at Damascus International Airport for 12 hours.

The measures come as tensions continue to rise across the Middle East following ongoing Iranian missile attacks on Israel and increasing military activity across the region.

Regional governments are closely monitoring developments as fears grow that the conflict could expand beyond its current fronts, potentially affecting air travel, security, and stability across neighboring countries.
