Iran has suspended its commitments under the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), accusing the United States of violating the agreement as military attacks continue.
Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi said the US had “violated and suspended all its commitments within the framework of the Islamabad MoU”, according to Iran’s Fars news agency.
Gharibabadi said Tehran had also suspended its obligations and implementation of the agreement, adding that the country is currently “busy defending the country” amid the ongoing conflict.
