The Maldives Police Service has appealed to the public for assistance in locating a man who is wanted under a Criminal Court order requiring his arrest and appearance before the court.
In a statement issued on Monday, police identified the individual as Mohamed Riza, 38, of Shaadhee Villa, Mukurimagu, L. Gan.
According to police, the Criminal Court has ordered officers to arrest Riza and present him before the court on July 1, 2026, after he failed to appear as required in connection with an ongoing criminal case.
Authorities have requested anyone with information regarding Riza’s whereabouts to contact the Police Custodial hotline on 9991442.
Police also expressed appreciation to members of the public for their continued cooperation and assistance in helping locate individuals sought by law enforcement.
