Kuwait Says Air Defences Intercepting ‘Hostile Aerial Targets’

Kuwait’s military says its air defence systems are currently intercepting what it described as “hostile aerial targets” amid rising tensions across the region.

In a statement posted on X, the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army urged residents to follow safety instructions issued by authorities and to rely on official sources for information.

The military did not immediately provide details about the nature of the targets, their origin, or whether any damage had been reported.

The announcement comes as regional tensions continue to escalate following exchanges between Iran, the United States and their allies.
