Maldives Police Service is searching for a 55-year-old man wanted in connection with a case filed at the Civil Court, following a court order requiring his arrest and presentation before the court.
The man has been identified as Ahmed Shareef, of Sosunge, S. Hithadhoo.
Police said Shareef is being sought after he failed to appear before the Civil Court in connection with the case. Under a court order, police have been instructed to arrest him and present him before the court on November 2, 2026.
Anyone with information regarding Shareef’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Police Custodial number at 9991442.
Police also expressed appreciation for the public’s continued cooperation in assisting law enforcement efforts.
