Maldives President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has sent condolences to Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim following the death of his elder brother, Idrus Ibrahim.
In his message, President Muizzu conveyed the heartfelt condolences of the Government and people of the Maldives to Anwar and his family.
The President also prayed for Allah to grant the Prime Minister and his family patience and solace during their time of grief.
Idrus Ibrahim, 83, passed away at his home in Cherok Tok Kun, Bukit Mertajam, on Thursday. He was the second of eight siblings and is survived by his wife, four children and 10 grandchildren.
