Israeli Settlers Torch Palestinian Vehicles in Occupied West Bank

Israeli settlers set fire to two Palestinian vehicles and damaged two others during an attack on the town of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah, in the occupied West Bank, according to the Wafa news agency.

A group of settlers reportedly stormed the al-Marah area near the town’s western entrance, torching two vehicles belonging to Palestinian residents and vandalising two others before fleeing the scene.

In a separate incident, Israeli settlers attempted to set fire to a mosque in the village of Burqa, also east of Ramallah. According to Wafa, the group first torched a vehicle parked near al-Nour Mosque before targeting the religious site itself.

The settlers reportedly broke down the mosque’s doors and set fire to its entrance in an apparent attempt to ignite the building. Local residents rushed to the scene and managed to extinguish the flames before they could spread further into the mosque and cause more extensive damage.

No injuries were immediately reported, but the attack caused damage to the mosque’s entrance and raised concerns among residents over the targeting of religious sites in the occupied West Bank.
