Minister of Islamic Affairs and Awqaf Dr. Mohamed Shaheem Ali Saeed has departed for Saudi Arabia to participate in an international conference organised by the Islamic University of Madinah.
The conference, titled “The Efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Confronting Intellectual Deviations,” is being held on September 27 and 28 at the Islamic University of Madinah.
Minister Shaheem is scheduled to deliver remarks at the conference, which focuses on Saudi Arabia’s efforts to address intellectual deviations and promote sound Islamic thought.
The two-day conference also includes sessions and activities for participating students, with attendance certificates, volunteer opportunities and other participation benefits being offered, Participants will have the opportunity to enter a daily prize draw for 7000 as a contribution towards a Hajj package, along with other prizes including mobile phones, bags and headphones.
