A small aircraft crashed in Croatia on Thursday, killing four people, authorities said.
According to police, emergency services are continuing search efforts for two people who remain missing after the plane went down near Campanoz, outside the town of Medulin on the Istrian Peninsula.
“Emergency services, including medical teams, firefighters and police officers, are taking all necessary measures in the search operation,” Istria police spokesperson Elena Pesić said.
The crash occurred earlier on Thursday morning local time. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
