First Lady Sajidha Mohamed attended the ceremony commemorating the 20th anniversary of Mianz College, where she recognised long-serving staff members for their contributions to the institution’s growth and development.
During the event, commemorative plaques were presented to employees who have dedicated more than 15 years of service to the college, acknowledging their commitment and role in shaping the institution over the years.
Founded in 2006 with an initial intake of just 19 students, Mianz College has since expanded into one of the Maldives’ leading higher education institutions. The college now serves a growing student population and offers a wider range of academic programmes across various fields.
The anniversary event brought together staff, students, alumni and invited guests to celebrate two decades of educational achievement and institutional development.
Mianz College has continued to strengthen its presence in the country’s higher education sector, contributing to the development of skilled professionals and expanding access to tertiary education opportunities in the Maldives.
